Florida with G&G - September 2012

Since Mom had some time off Grandma Mindy invited us down to Florida. Grandpa and Grandpa were going to Sanibel to look for seashells. Mom and I flew down to meet them and we stayed a week. The weather was so warm and so was the water. I went swimming every day both in the ocean and in the pool. Grandma was really good about bringing me to the pool so I could play for a while before dinner.

They took us miniature golfing one afternoon. At this place you could place meat on the end of a fishing pole and feed it to the resident alligators. Grandpa and I gave it a shot.

I liked the golfing but it was sooo hot. After about 9 holes Grandma and I took a break while Mom and Grandpa finished the game.

We went to the zoo one day and got to see all the animals. We even took a boat ride to monkey island.

We took a tour one day through the wetlands and we saw some horseshoe crabs and some crabs and live in the trees. It was neat.

Mom and Grandpa went out almost every day in the morning to look for seashells. Grandma said they were crazy. We all went out together most days and I ended up scuba diving to look for shells and brought them to mommy. She bought me a new mask and Grandma bough me new water wings. It was great fun. I didn't like breathing through the snorkel so I just held my breath. I found lots of kitten paws for mom. I like looking for shells. There were so many on the beach to look through. We ended up bring home almost 7 pounds of shells and took them to our beach house.
