Happy New Year! - Jan 1st

We got out the masks we used last year to celetrate. I couldn't believe Mom still had them. We put those on and then let off fireworks!

We we got up in the morning we took a quick stroll on the beach and raced the waves. Then Mom and I played Tic Tac Toe with sticks in the sand

Getting warm in the truck.

Then we headed to the Newport Aquarium. We found a friendly otter who enjoyed watching me as much as I enjoyed watching him.

I gave him a quick kiss as it looked like he was trying to blow me a kiss too!

Mom and I in the Passages of the Deep!

Razor Clamming - March 2nd

The first good clam time of the year and we were there so get our limit. Because I love razor clams so much Mom said we better go get some so we will have them for later.

Our catch for the day. I helped both Mom and Dad get clams. I asked Mom to use the gun so I could see how it works. I got to dig through the sand she dropped and find the clam. That was fun. Then Dad had me help him dig too. Don't they look great!

Then Dad fried them up and we ate them. I had to fight him for the last one. I love me some razor clams! Especially the way Dad makes them!

Scuba Diving in Hoodsport - Feb. 9th

This weekend we went to Hoodsport so Mom, Dad and Grandpa Dave could go scuba diving. It was a beautiful weekend. The sun was out and it was warm.

Making a few silly faces.

Mom ready and waiting to get wet.
Grandpa Dave ready and waiting.

Not sure what was going on here!

There were sunstars right at the shoreline so I got to touch one of them.

There were starfish at the shoreline too. It was so neat to see these things outside of Newport's Aquarium.

Daddy took some great pictures diving. I'll have to get those and add them later. You should see them, they are awesome! I can't wait to start scuba diving so I can see those things too!

Family Easter - April 1st

Then we headed out to Uncle Ken's to celebrate Easter with the rest of the family. I was excited to see all of my cousins. I kept some smasher eggs so I could smash them with my cousins! It was such a beautiful day we played outside until dinner time.

Once Waylon and Tessa showed up I asked Mom to get the smasher eggs and we took turns smashing them on each other's heads. Mom said we got to pick who we wanted to smash our eggs on. But to be careful because they could pick us back.
Andrew started it by calling on me!

Henry got a little brother's revenge when he called on Andrew as his target.

Henry smashed one on my head too!

I smashed one on Tessa! Boy it got everywhere in her long hair!

Waylon really got in to it. Look at that face! He smashed it hard on Andrew's head.

I decided to smash one on Waylon.

Finally Tessa got a turn and she smashed her first egg on Henry.

Then it was Andrew's turn to smash Tessa.

Tessa enjoyed EVERY SECOND of smashing her egg on Waylon's head. Sisterly love!

When all of the eggs were gone we decided to pile on Tessa in the yard to burn off some extra energy. Poor girl!

I got a running started and piled on!
Then it was Henry's turn to be on top!

After dinner the Easter Bunny stopped by and hid our Easter Eggs. There were so many eggs to find. But E.B. gave Uncle Cory some clear directions for us. So he sat us down and told us the rules. Don't we look thrilled!

Then it was time to start the hunt. One quick picture....or maybe two...
Oh, and don't forget the silly one...

Let the hunt begin....

Andrew and I raced to an egg. He let me have it.

I spotted an egg up in a tree...stopped in my tracks...dropped by basket...
and hit a dead run to be the first one there...
I made it. But needed Dad's help to get it out of the tree.

I found the egg with my name on it behind the screen door.

I gave Grandpa a hug and found that E.B. had given him a money egg.
Uncle Cory told us there was 1 extra money and so once everyone had found one the last one would be up for grabs. As soon as Henry found a money egg Tess remembered where the extra was and she sprinted past everyoe for it.
While looking for his eggs, Wyatt found a newt and salamander.

After the Easter Egg hunt we played football for a while. Uncle Cory ran us through some drills. I joined in for a little bit. I tried to catch the ball but it was hard. I still had fun.
