Fishing with Grandpa Dave - July 2012

Grandpa and Grandma came down to the beach with us during the July 4th holiday for a couple of days. Mom. Dad and Grandpa went out the first morning to bottom fish. They were hoping to salmon fish but no one was going any good. they were planning to take me but the water was too rough. When they got back they had some HUGE lingcod. Dad said they were hitchhikers. That means that while they were reeling in their lingcod an even BIGGER lingcod tried to eat the first one and they ended up netting both of them.

 Wow! Grandpa got the biggest one!

 Dad filleted all of the fish. Great job Dad.
