Bottom (Halibut?) Fishing - Juy 2012

Today Dad and Mom said they would take me fishing with Grandpa but again, the water was too rough so I had to stay home. Though I really like to go fishing Grandma and I have a good time. We play games and she lets me watch movies. When Mom, Dad and Grandpa got home but this time they brought home two halibut! Wow, they were huge!

This was Mom and Grandpa trying to pick of their fish. They said they thought they had snagged the bottom but the line just kept going and finally Dad grabbed a hold of it and said they both had halibut on. They ended up to be about 50 pounds. Not bad for a bottom fishing trip!

Again, dad worked on filleting the fish. He does the best job!
