We went back to Haggs Christmas Tree farm to get our Christmas tree. They always have such great trees and it never takes us very long to pick out the perfect one!
I really liked this first one.
Then we spotted the perfect tree! Daddy and I took an up close look to be sure it was the best one.
The guy that works there always remembers us because he is a fisherman and see's the fish sticker on the back of Daddy's truck. This year he cut the tree down for us. But not the old fashion way - with the hand saw. No! He used a chainsaw. I didn't like the loud noise but it didn't take long.
Then we strapped the tree to our truck and went down to visit the animals in the barn. This year we got to help them get Andy, the Christmas donkey, from the pasture and put him in the barn. And boy, he did NOT want to go. Mommy helped while Daddy and I stayed back and watched. Mommy brought carrots to feed Andy since they don't want him to have the grain. Finally we got him in the barn and I got to feed all of the other animals too before we went home with our tree.
