My 3rd Birthday Party with Fireman Scott

This year I have really been in to fire trucks. Any time we are out and we see a fire truck I always ask Mommy to stop so I can talk to the firemen and sit in the truck. There is almost always a fire truck at Winco so that is usually where I find them. Daddy got me a fire truck big boy bed this year with a light on top. I was even a fireman for Halloween.

This year for my 3rd birthday Mommy planned it at the Lake Oswego Fire Station with her old family friend, Fireman Scott. I guess they went to school together or something. We tried to keep the invites to a minimium but we also wanted to invite my school friends so there was still alot of people who attended which made it fun.

Mommy had tried to make a fire truck birthday cake for me but she didn't like how it turned out. I told her that I loved it but she wanted better so she ordered one for me. It turned out so great! Mommy's flame cupcakes looked aswesome too. And the fire hydrant red chocolate lillipops tasted so good.

Mommy and Ms. Dora decorated the station house and it looked so great.

Fireman Scott showed up a video of how to be safe and to remind us never to play with matches or fire. Then we all practiced how to stop, drop and roll.

Then we went out to the hangar to look at the firetrucks and Fireman Scott showed us what all of the equipment was for. He even let us sit inside the truck.

I jumped on the front bumber to see if the bell really worked. But it was only for looks. Darn!

Fireman Scott had uncle Cory dress up like a real fireman so we could see what they look like.

Mommy planned an obstacle course to save Connor kitty like in Fireman Sam. After we finished it we got a Jr. Firefighter Badge and a sticker!

Then it was time for cake, FINALLY. I had my eye on the frosting for quite some time. I almost could not wait for her to put the candles in it and light them up.

Then...present time. I was so overwhelmed with all my new presents. Everyone thought of such neat things for me.

We sent everyone home with a favor bag. The family stayed back to help clean up and Daddy told Waylon to put as much candy in his pockets to take home. He didn't stop there. He started putting elk meat in his back pockets!

Then, as we were cleaning up Fireman Scott's son, Bull, smashed the cake in his face. It was so funny.

Thank you everyone who helped make this the best birthday party ever! I can't wait to see what Mommy has in store for next year.

My birthday party - the Purple Party

Since purple is my favorite color of all time...we had a purple party celebration planned on my actual birthday and invited all my Grandma's and Grandpa's over for dinner. Unfortunately I got sick on my birthday and had to stay home from school. The doctor felt so bad for me she gave me anti-nausea pills so I wouldn't throw up on my birthday which was thoughtful. So we moved my Purple Party to friday night and everyone was still available.

Mommy asked everyone to wear purple if they had it and decorated the house in purple. I even had a purple cake with purple candles.

Grandpa Dave made me playing card holders for UNO since my hands are so small and its hard to hold all the cards.  So we played UNO while Daddy made pizza for everyone.

Sitting with Mommy and Grandma Dee at dinner.

Then we had a little purple cake and it was time to open presents. I got some great stuff. The movie Rio, which I love and a Leap pad reader with maze and letter books.

Thanks everyone for coming to my party. See you next year!

Maiking Pizza

Daddy let me help make our pizza for dinner. This was my first time as a pizza maker and it was fun.

First, we made Mommy and Daddy's barbeque chicken pizza. We added the chicken with our chopsticks. I needed a pair since that is what Daddy uses to cook.

Then we added the cheese....

...and a little love....

The read onion and then cilantro and we were done!

Then we made my pizza. I wanted a pepperoni/olive pizza. I started with the pizza sauce.

Then I added the cheese...

Then the pepperoni and olives. I made sure to taste test the pepperoni to be sure it was safe to use.

I love helping Mommy and Daddy in the kitchen.
