Easter Egg Hunt at the Zoo - 4/11

Now before you read this post I wanted to include a disclaimer about my pictures for the next few posts. I was helping Mommy unload the grocery cart and pulled it on top of my face. It landed right on my nose and scraped my cheek. Long story short… I didn’t break any thing and it looks worse than it really was. It didn’t hurt too badly after the first 20 minutes.

Mommy took me to the zoo one Saturday. However she didn’t realize that the Saturday before Easter they do an Easter Egg hunt for children of all ages….that means me! We saw all of the kids with their neat Easter baskets and some of them were dressed up so nice. I didn’t have anything to hold my eggs in. “Not to worry” Mommy said as she rummaged around in the diaper bag we had with us. She found a blue plastic bag so me to use. Normally we put my dirty diapers in these but she promised me it had never been used so at least I had a bag to hunt with.

When the bell went off I started running around hunting in the grass for all of the neat goodies hidden. I think I want to go back next year. I got to join in an Easter egg hunt and see all my animal friends at the zoo. What a treat!
