Yo Ho Ho, My Pirate Birthday Party - Jan. 19th

Since getting back from Disneyland I told Mom I wanted a Jake and the Neverland Pirate themed birthday party. I asked her to get me a Jake costume and even paint my hair black. I had all the details down, even to the J's on my pirate boots. All that was left was to get a little parrot to name Scully. Mom drew the line at buying me a parrot thought. Darn!
So Mom made me a costume to look like Jake. What do you think?

Then we invited all my friends and family to a party.

I wanted the girls to dress like Izzy, in pink with a pixie dust pouch.
Myra and Alix came from my old scool. I was excited to see them again.
Tessa looked great.
Maddie was a little shy to get her picture taken. But look at all that pink!
And the boys to dress like Cubby from the cartoon. He always holds the map.
Andrew doing is pirate impression.

Mom also got some random pirate outfits for kids too.
Henry looked like a great pirate.

Wyatt used a combination of the pirate outfits but he turned out looking more like Peter Pan than a Pirate.
We even had a tatoo station so we could all get our pirate tattoos on. Even Uncle Cory got in the action.

Then we all sat down and had some snacks.
Most of us found the skittles that were holding the balloons down and snaked on those instead.

Once everyone was there we got ready to play Pin the Treasure on the Treasure Map.

The big kids were patient and let us little kids go first.

This time I couldn't see through the blindfold but I still was one of the closest and won a treasure box with Tessa.

When it was big kids turn to go Mom spun them around a few times before letting them go. Andrew was first and he veered clear off the map. This was the kids' reaction. They could hardly contain their laughter. But Andrew was a good sport about it.

Waylon fared a little better.
Then it was Peter Pan's Um.. I mean Wyatt's turn to go. Mom told him he wasn't allowed to feel the map so he had to walk up and stick the sticker. Tessa was so relieved.
Then it was time for our outdoor treasure hunt. I was so excited. Mom had made a treasure map of the playground outside (you have to use your imagination) and we had to follow the map to find seven different treasures. (This picture also shows the shells that Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and I found in Florida - Olives, Jingles and Fighting Conchs)
I brought my spyglass so I could look for all the treasure.

Wyatt held our master treasure map and we all helped read it.

Then we came back inside for cake and ice cream. Since my favorite flavor is strawberry Mom had a white cake with strawberry filling and neopolitan ice cream. Yum! 9417 9427 9430

As if it couldn't get better, then it was present time. All my friends gave me such wonderful gifts. I am so lucky to have the friends and family that I do. 9444 9446 9448

Since the boys didn't get the pixie pounches I wanted to help Myra open hers so we could see what was inside.

And then, sadly, it was time for everyone to go home. We had such a great time. All the family stayed to help clean up which was so nice of them. It took no time at all. And I already reminded Mom that next year I want an Ice Man Birthday party (he is Spiderman's best friend). The year after that I want a Captain America Party. She just laughed and told me, "you are your mother's son, my dear!"
