A Day at the Newport Aquarium with Wyatt Bull

Our friends, Mr. Tron, Ms. Christine and Wyatt, came down for the day at the Beach House. Wyatt had never seen the Aquarium so we decided to take them there and show him around. Once we got in the doors we could hardly contain ourselves.

We saw the otters, the seals, peguins and ducks.

Then I wanted to go to the Passages of the Deep. Some kids picked up trash from the beaches and made what looked like a set of whale bones from all the garbage. It looked very real. Wyatt and I ran through it like a tunnel to get to the fish. We loved anything resembling a tunnel.

There were fish everywhere. We saw sharks, rockfish, halibut, lingcod, cabezon and even juvenile wolf eels. The swam all around us, over our heads, under our feet.

Daddy picked me up to get a closed look at a sea anenome that was on the ceiling.

I squashed a penny in a machine and turned it in to a Newport Aquarium penny with a wolf eel on the front of it.

On the way out of passages of the deep we found some animals to play on.

Then we went to the tidepool and they let us touch the starfish and anenomies. I always like that.
