Let The Wild Rumpus Start...I'm 2!

This year for my birthday party we borrowed the theme from Where the Wild Things Are. Mama and my teacher, Ms. Dora spent the day before putting up decorations. They made big paper trees and a boat going across the water like when Max sailed to the island.

Corkey and I both put on a Wild Things masks and pretended to be monsters. It wasn't too much of a stretch for Corkey.

Mama picked up special Wild Things balloons. The Max balloon was almost as big as me!

Daddy used pages out of the book and put my face on the Max character. I looked just like Max.

Mama and Ms. Dora decorated all my cupcakes, they worked really hard, there were so many to make.

On the day of my party Ms. Dora came over a little early and gave me a special present. She made me a Max cosutme of my very own complete with a fur covered crown and tail, I loved it. I wore it all day.

All my friends and family came over to celebrate with me. It was so much fun. Mama set up my cupcake stand and everyone sang "Happy Birthday to Wolfie!"

I emjoyed some cupcake and ice cream before opening presents.

Senor Thorsten enjoying the frosting off his cupcake! Hola Amigo!

My cousins helped open all of my presents.

What a great 2nd Birthday Party. Thank you all who came to celebrate with me.

playing with Thorsten post-party.

Letting my inner Wild Thing out. RRROOOOAAAARRR!

Happy Brithday to Me

Mama and Daddy invited all my Grandpas and Grandmas over to celebrate my birthday. This way I could just have some time with them before my big celebration on the weekend.

Daddy made his barbeque chicken pizza. Everyone loved it.

I opened my presents from everyone. I got more wooden food items I get to cut like Daddy does when he cooks.
Grandma and Papa Dave helped me cut all of them.

And I got a Leapster Explorer. I wasn't sure what it was until I saw a picutre of Dora the Explorer on the box. I got so excited. That must mean I can watch Dora on it.

We had cupcakes for dessert. I wanted to share mine with my new friend Corky. I love Corky. I got him from Grandma Dee's house. he used to be Aunt Mandi's until she moved away. Grandma Dee said I could take him home for a while. Mama doesn't seem to like him as much as me. I don't know why, he is always smiling and has cute red hair and freckles and the best part is he never goes to sleep!

It was nice to have all of my Grandparents together. Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate with Mama, Daddy and me!
