Daddy's Shoes

The other day I saw a pair of daddy's sneakers and decided to see if my feet would fit.

They were a little harder to walk in than my shoes. I think I'll stick to my shoes for a while longer.

Fishing at Pine Hollow

Last weekend I went fishing with Mama, Daddy and Grandpa Dave at Pine Hollow. We had so much fun. I got to use my new life jacket and hang out on the boat every day.

We were catching so many fish that we let a lot of them go. Some of them were not big enough to keep. But that meant we got to catch even more fish.

Daddy caught a really big trout. It was almost as tall as me! I was so excited to get to touch it and kiss it. I love fish! I can even say "fish" now but it sounds more like "sh-ish".

I liked seeing all the fish, on the hook when they brought them in the boat or in the net but when they were on the bottom of the boat flopping around I got pretty upset. I didn't like seeing that.

When I wasn't fishing Grandma Mindy hung out at the cabin with me. I got to blow bubbles and play with my toys. I had a great time. Grandpa fed me some gummy treats while we played.

I can't wait until next year. I'll be even bigger and maybe I will get to help reel one in!

Easter 2010

Happy Easter Everyone!

This is actually my second Easter but the first one where I got to really get in to the spirit of things. When I woke up Sunday morning I saw that the Easter bunny had left me a basket. It even had an Easter banana in it. Bananas are definitely a holiday fruit! (See my Christmas banana on a previous post!)

Once I looked at my basket I saw there were some eggs hidden. I took my basket and hunted for the eggs. With minimal help (only verbal directions) I was able to find all of my eggs the Easter bunny hid. He is going to have to do much better next year!

He had put goldfish and yogurt puffs in some of the eggs. There was also change to rattle around besides the real eggs I had dyed and left for him.

Then I got dressed to go celebrate Easter with the Jespersen Family. What fun!

Dyeing Easter Eggs

Mom and I dyed Easter eggs for Easter. I really liked dropping the eggs in to the dye. And I mean Dropping them. I think I broke almost every eggs dropping it in to the bowls. But it was fun.

Making fish kisses for the camera!

My First Spring Program 2010

CHEEEEESE!!!

Today my class (The Wobblers) had our Spring Program. We sang a song about kites, then had an Easter Egg hunt.

I found 6 eggs all by myself.
Then we dipped rice krispie treats in to chocolate and sprinkles. That was my favorite part. I wouldn't let anyone take that from me. Even when they offered me a cupcake!
I dyed a couple Easter Eggs to take home. In fact, I dyed all the rest of the Easter Eggs left in the bowl. I liked that part.

Spaghetti...It's what's for Dinner!!

I love me some spaghetti!

Taking a Walk

Mama, Daddy and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. I wore my new gloves and hat Mama bought me. I love to wear the gloves even though they are still a little big for me.

Mexico

Mexico, here I come!!

My first time out of the country. I was so excited that I even helped to pack the suitcases.

The plane ride was fun. I never cried once during take off or landing and all the people around me said I was such a good boy. I played with my toys and watched my movie and even played peek-a-boo with the people sitting behind me. It was beautiful, sunny and warm in Mexico. I made friends with all the guests and staff.

Everyone said hello to me daily and waited to see me in the evenings for dinner. They said I was such a good boy since I never cried or got upset. But what was to get upset about? I got to play for hours each day in the water and the sand. It was awesome!

I got to eat tons of guacamole every night at dinner, I LOVE avocados. I would eat a plateful every night for dinner.
One night Mama, Daddy and me walked to town and watch the Carnival Parade. I got dressed up and they put some wax in my ears so I would be scared of the floats with loud music. It was so much fun. People threw candy and beads and me.

I got to dance to all the music. I wore my beads every day after that everywhere I went!

I even got to go up on one of the floats with our dive shop owner. She wanted to keep me forever but she gave me back! Whew!!

We also went to a park that had manatees, dolphins and we watched a sea lion show. After the show Mama and I had our picture taken with the sea lion. I wanted to touch it but she held my hands so I didn't get bit.

Since it was a little bit windy I mostly swam in the hot tub. I had a really neat swim suit with floats so it helped me stay above the water.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for our wonderful trip. What a great Christmas present. I love you!!
