Making Cookies for the Halloween Party

Cousin Sara is having a Halloween party this week. I have my costume and everthing.

Don't worry, I am sure mama will post a picture, you know how she is.

This afternoon at Sara's house she rolled some dough out on my tray and I got to help cut out cookies.

That's fun. Something new to play with. But she wouldn't let me eat it... party popper...I am sure mama was happy about that. She is always taking things away from me when I try to put them in my mouth!

I can't wait for the party!

Update on my Walking Technique

For those of you who haven't seen me in a while I thought I would post a recent walking video. I can really move now. But I do have a wicked sense of humor, I must take after dad.

Bubbles

This weekend I helped Dad in the shop while he canned tuna. While we were out there I got to play with a tuna jig. It was so colorful and fun to chew on. Man he has a lot of those!

I got to swing my in swing for a while. I really enjoy that. I get to look at everything and the best of all, no falling down and hurting myself which I do quite often right now. I am still getting used to walking in shoes, I keep getting my feet tangled.

Mama even blew air circles at me. Those were kinda weird. I couldn't seem to catch any of them. Any time I got close they disappeared. But it was fun trying to catch them anyway.

Cleaning Pumpkins

Tonight we cleaned out our pumpkins and got them ready to carve. I have never felt any thing so slimey and gooey, it was great.

At first I wasn't so sure about this. But after I saw and sticking his hands in it I tried it too. How fun and messy.

I tried putting my feet in there too but it is much harder to walk with pumpkins for shoes.

I tried to eat a few seeds but mama kept taking them out of my mouth.

The Great Pumpkin Patch 2009: Roloff Farms

Yeserday Mama and Dad took me to get my first pumpkin. We went to Roloff Farms out in Helvetia. Wow, what a place. There were animals to pet, a lion to look at, pony rides and pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins.

Dad and I feeding the goats. They were not shy about wanting our food. This goat even pushed the others away so he could eat all of my food.

Mama and I fed a mini cow - this is as big as he will ever get. He's the perfect size. I bet he would fit in our backyard. And the Alpaca definitely needed a shave!

I took a tumble when trying to walk through the pumpkins and ended up eating a little dirt. Ick!

I started getting upset...all these pictures....can't I just play guys!!!!
I watched the pony rides. I even fed some hay to the ponies that were resting. Their noses are so soft.

Dad took a picture of my bloody lip. Once you get teeth it hurts a little more when you fall on your face. And I have four teeth now so I have to be extra careful. I know that now!
We didn't take the hayride, the line was really long and it was getting close to nap time. Besides, we need to save something for next year anyway.
Happy Halloween!

Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival

A few weekends ago I went to OFFF and meet up with Grandma Dee, Aunt Leah and the boys. It was at the Clackamas Fairgrounds. There were so many animals I had never seen before, but then I haven't seen that many animals in my short time here.

I got to pet bunnies, the cashmere goats, some llamas, alpacas, and I even saw a goat with four horns...crazy!!

Going Bananas

I got to stay home with Dad today. What a treat. He left me alone for just a few minutes and I found where mama stashed the bananas (we are hiding them from the fruit flies that have descended upon us since she canned pears this weekend).

I opened the drawer and to my surprise I found a bunch of bananas. I was getting a little hungry so I figured out how to get one banana off the bunch. It wasn't too hard. Then I peeled it and had eaten part of it before dad came to find me.

Hey, at least it was a banana....
